3C recipe

he basic recipe of 3C (good for 1 month consumption)

1 kilo peeled, shredded carrots (you can used a potato peeler or
cheese shredder)
1 kilo shredded whole cucumber including the seeds
1 kilo coarsely chopped celery (if you want to include the roots
please wash thoroughly because soil easily get's spoil)

combined everything in a big basin and evenly coat 1 1/2 kilo of
muscovado sugar. and while doing it - keep a happy disposition! do not
make 3C when angry okay!

Put the mixture in an airtight container ( osmotic pressure) for 10
days. after ten days separate the juice from the sludge or solid with
a plastic strainer or cheesecloth.

this combination and proportion will give you a tangy, smooth, creamy
and salty (natural salt of celery)yummy, yummy juice. i take this
straight up every morning and when we are tired from farm and would
like to sleep, i take a jigger and sleep like a baby!

if you want less tangy and creamy put less carrots and more cucumber
than carrots, if you want tangy but not salty put less celery and
replace cucumber

you may add your ginger garlic lemongrass ampalaya leaves, malunggay
remember the ratio 2:1 for diabetic just reduce sugar and extend
fermentation to another five days to give sugar do the work.

enjoy and please share the recipe and let them experience the benefit
good health!

planting seeds for pigs

What I did with my flamengia, rensoni and indigofera seeds is mixed
them together, drew a line with a stick along my paths, along the
fence and outline of my garden where I had space and just drop around
5 seeds every inch. Simple as that.

how to make fermented plant/fruit juice rice bran granules

i make this granule procedure a simple procedure (step by step). this will help you reduced your cost on feeds. make animal healthy and lessen the awful smell of the manure. you may include this formula as part of your feeding program with your commercial feeds (because some of you still need to plant more) i recommend ten percent of the granules added to your feed mixture. i used only fermented fruits (banana and papaya) and plants juice (banana trunk, alugbati, kangkong, talbos ng kamote, bamboo shoots (labong), malunggay) because most of us does not have access to other ingredients.
if your using banana or papaya as fruits just take out the juice and used the sludge again. just mash the sludge with rice bran and feed to pigs.

Remember: when your preparing your natural farming inputs...prepare it with gladness and a happy disposition. ..okay ba yon! bawal ang masungit na natural farmers- ang pikon talo!

feeding formulation

From birth to 30 days, I suggest you give your piglet commercial feeds and natural feed formulation you may start at pig age 32 to 45 by that time there digestive system is already strong. We observe our piglets at two to three weeks eat mothers food and leaves such as tricantera and other soft vegetable makes intestine strong.
We give piglets daily dose of Ching's Co LACTO recipe - 20ml diluted to 20 liters of water at least 4 container (lard 27 liters cap) a day upon weaning or transferring them to common room and given to them for three days. If your transferring piglets from different pen. We wipe them all with vinegar so that they have one scent resulted to less tail biting and fighting. Scent of the vinegar cover scent of other siblings. akala nila magkakapatid na silang lahat ( they thought they are brothers and sister)

remember this is just a basic recipe (parang adobo) you can design your own feed formulation according to the material in your area. pag malapit kayo sa dagat, used seaweeds and oyster shell, pag kayo nasa bundok used coconut to make a fermented sapal ng niyog. Andry's farm planted all the legumes five years ago. our tricantera is about 1,000 trees and to sustain the farm we still need to plant about 5,000 more and keep on planting.

I tried to make this formula in excel. the matrix is color guide and i hope you can easily follow the guideline. if this is hard i don't know how to present it into much easier presentation. everyone here understand how to make FFJ or FPJ rice bran granules? look up at our chicken feed formulation. same lang ang procedure. the sludge from the FFJ and FPJ can be mix with this feed formulation. Remember ferment feeds three days before you give to the animals. Huwag muna pakain.

Please join Sis.Ishyang workshop February 16-17-18. Group of Herbie will go to Tiaong tomorrow same meeting place and on saturday the Bicol Group will go to Tarlac to see Dr. Milla's FRC freerange chicken.

ATING ALAMIN of KA GERRY GERONIMO is advertising PIGS raised in NATURAL FARMING...

As mentioned thru text Ka Gerry Geronimo is promoting the method of raising pigs natural. However they are still tying up with a FEED COMPANY that makes natural feeds and no antibiotics (as claimed). I forget the name of the feed. Below is a rough description on how they do the pens.
1. Same setup with NFS but bedding are only tapped with rice hull or ipa.
2. The pen includes a provision of a small pool where the water is raised upto the knee of the pigs. It is explained that the pigs are gonna bath when hot, urinate and poop on the pool. the pool are to be cleaned once a day. The space provision of the chicken are the same with NFS.
